5 out of 5 stars Very involved games!!   December 28, 2008
Wii Sports is awesome! There are 5 sports- Tennis, golf, baseball, boxing, and bowling, plus there is the Wii fitness for each sport and training minigames for each sport. Boxing requires a nunchuck, but none of the others do. You get to use the characters you create in the Mii channel for the games! The graphics are good too. I recommend this game to all Wii users!

5 out of 5 stars Wow! A non-gamer's dream!   December 28, 2008
I have not bought any video games for my family, because I don't want my kids spending too much time sitting on the couch. I finally relented and they received a Wii for Christmas. They are most definitely NOT sitting on the couch. In fact, they are running, swinging, playing, boxing and having an absolute ball. And, of course, I'm addicted too! I love the golf and just wish there were more courses to play. There is nothing inappropriate for my boys, ages 7 and 10, and they have quickly mastered the controls. I am excited that my kids want to have their friends over to play. That was my main goal--keep them home and playing sports games rather than out and about playing games that may not be appropriate. It's a winner!

5 out of 5 stars A HUGE hit in my house!!   December 27, 2008
We got a Wii for Christmas along with 6 games and of all the games we got this is my family's favorite! It's great excercise too!!

3 out of 5 stars Wii Sports- The Ultimately OK game!   December 25, 2008
Wii Sports is sort of fun. I especially like tennis. On baseball, you can't aim the bat AT ALL. It drives me nuts. But it's a good game for beginning to try out the Wii. At first I loved this game. Then I got a little bored with it. To me, the funnest part is creating characters. There is no limit to how many you can make. I guess this isn't exactly a GOOD review, but my brother (12) LOVES this game. Even baseball on it. So, I just guess if you're into video games and sports, this is the game for you!

5 out of 5 stars It's the best game in the world. There's only one con.   December 22, 2008

It's the best game in the world. There's only one con. br /The first game, tennis, is superb. Your face to face with the other team. I remember when I hit the ball, and they hit it back. Usually not with other games. It just makes it interesting. I recommend you don't play this game first, though, because it's very hard and it could take at least five minutes for a rally. Nice in skill level. The miis that are watching laugh! Very animated.br /The second game is baseball. I suggest that you play this one first. It's only three innings, and it's easy in skill level. Some things, like catching and running, are handled automaticly. If your a fast runner and a bad hitter, it's a shame, but if your a great hitter and a terrible runner, that's a great advantage. It picks the teams automaticlybr /{very nice in a hurry, but sometimes you don't get your favorite miis on your team}. The con here is that the fielders legs aren't animated. That's a shame. br /The thrid game is bowling. It is a great game, just like the others. You score points and it's pretty fun and easy{ it's not as easy as baseball}. It's also very well made and animated. You can hit two pins far away from each other.br /Golf is a great game. Just great. There streams, seas, and bunkers. The trees wave in the wind, and the blocks all move. It also is very realistic.br /Boxing is fun, but tireing. I wish they gave you one round instead of three. By the time your finished, your tired. A good game for workout.
