Thanks For Making The Best Battery Pack June 5, 2008 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is absolutely the best battery pack I have ever had.br /I've been looking all over for a good battery pack for my balance board till I came across this battery pack on Amazon.com I purchased it and it works great. Thank You CTAbr /
A good value but two annoyances June 4, 2008 31 out of 32 found this review helpful
When I purchased the Wii Fit, I also purchased this pack at the same time.br /br /It's definitely a good value, since the Wii Fit probably drains AA batteries quickly. I've used mine for 9 days with no problems. As long as the battery pack is charged, I can unplug the board and use it as far away as I'd like.br /br /Unfortunately, the USB cord is pretty short and, in addition, the recharge pack covers the Sync button you use to setup the board.br /br /Overall a good value, but those issues are minor annoyances.br /
short cord, and will only charge while unit is on! June 3, 2008 55 out of 57 found this review helpful
I purchased this product at the same time I pre-ordered the Wii Fit.br /I personally had no problems with the syncing of my board. br /I initially used the enclosed batteries to set up the board as the charger needed to well, charge. br /br /My first gripe is this: right on the packaging it states that you can charge while in game play. br /Ummm no, the cord is too short!!!! br /There is no way you can perform the excerise saftly with a short cord plugged into the Wii's usb, which now would need to be placed on the floor. br /A completely ridiculous theory in my opinion, so do not buy it for this feature! br /For an example to how short the cord is: br /My tv is on a reletively low 2 shelf tv stand. br /The Wii sits next to the tv. br /I attatched charger to the usb port and to the board, which now has to be stood up. br /I cannot even lay the board flat directly in front of the tv.br /br /My second gripe is that it will only charge while the Wii unit is on. br /I personally don't like running my unit for all those extra hours unnessasarily, I'm afraid of burning out the motor quite frankly.br /br /I gave is three stars as it does actually charge the unit.
Killed both my Wii Fits June 1, 2008 8 out of 17 found this review helpful
This looks like the ones made by MadCatz. I bought 2 of these at Circuit City and by the next day after using them... both Wii Fits were dead. What are the odds of 2 boards dying at the same time so I could draw no other conclusion than it was the chargers. We had been using our boards for a week before this with no problem.br /br /By the way, in regards to the review below...Assuming this is the MadCatz charger... When the battery pack is on the Wii Fit there is a hole over where the sync button is inside and you stick a small screwdriver or something in there to press the sync button.

I bought this when I ordered the wii fit but am very disappointed. THere is a big design flaw with it. When I took my regular batteries out to put in the rechrgeable battery my board was no longer sync'd and you can not resync it with the rechargeable battery because the battery is part of the cover so you can't have access to the sync button with the battery in!!!!!!!!!! So I find this useless!!!!!
