grand slam December 1, 2008 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
I ordered the wii grand slam sports pack as a Christmas present for my daughter. She's waited months to get this. I can't wait to see her face on Christmas morning when she opens her new wii grand slam sports pack.
Good but difficult November 30, 2008 The strap was thinner than the one that came with the Wii, but our strap was gross so we switched. However, I will be getting a new one soon. The instruments are difficult to screw onto the controller. But they are fun and for they price I am happy with them.
cheap knockoff not worth trying November 28, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This accessory pack is a great idea that was poorly executed. Both the base for the bat, tennis racket and golf club and the steering wheel suffer from the same three annoying little issues that make this pack unusable. First, the space for the Wii remote to slot into them is just slightly too big, which causes the remote to constantly move around under your fingers and feel like it might fall out. Second, the cutout space for the trigger button on the remote makes it difficult to use the trigger button, especially on the steering wheel. Third, the hole for the Wii Remote strap to go through is just slightly too small for the adjuster on the strap that comes with the remote to fit through, so you have to use the cheap flimsy strap that comes with the kit instead of the quality strap that comes with the Wii Remote. br /br /Don't waste your money on this accessory pack, there are FAR better accessories out there.
Made in china - cheap and worthless! November 5, 2008 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
This looked like the perfect addition to our Wii. We discovered immediately that it is not even made by the same manufacturer as Wii and is not put together well at all! The controller and pool stick do not line up so do not work together. The bat does not screw on to the remote holding piece properly. We didn't even try the rest of the stuff after we tried the pool stick and bat. It's all cheap and worthless light plastic that looks like it could break at any minute and that does not fit together well. Thank goodness for the return policy at the store we bought this from!!!
Not really needed. October 24, 2008 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
I purchased 2 of these back when my wife and I bought our Wii. After playing with the sports pack for a while, we got kind of tired of it. Switching the controllers in and out was annoying, and, as other reviewers have mentioned, it's impossible to set the game up with the remote in some of the equipment (like the tennis racket). We have found the game to be much more enjoyable WITHOUT the sports pack. I wouldn't bother wasting your money on this one, personally...
