| Customer Reviews:
Charge station rules May 13, 2007 I never have to worry about buying batteries anymore. As long as I remember to put my Wii remotes in the charger I will always have a remote to use while playing the Wii. Buy it!!
You really need one May 12, 2007 The Wii charge station is fantastic and it really helps save on buying batteries. Your controller is ready to go whenever you need it, no hassles with drained batteries or not having any replacement batteries on hand. The only drawback is that you can't use the color controller skins that go on the Wii controller, with the charging station. But other than that, it is awesome. I highly recommend getting one if you play your Wii regularly.
A Must Have for Wii Owners May 12, 2007 Upon getting the Wii around Christmas time, I quickly found that there was a pressing need for Double A batteries. Unlike the Xbox 360 this is a big a gap in the Wii product offerings. Thank goodness for aftermarket vendors.br /br /I like the Wii charge station for two reasons:br /br /1.) The battery life on the chargers is very good and lasts for a couple of days before having to recharge. (Results will vary obviously)br /br /2.) Although the rechargable battteries are bulkier than the normal AA that you would typically provide, the Charge Station provides you replacement rear faceplates that compensate the bulkier batteries with rubber grips. Between the wrist strap and the rubber grips its now next to impossible to have this remote slip from your hands.br /br /Some dislikes to the device:br /br /1.) Cosmetic issue, if you have made any investments in the after market silicon skins the will most likely not fit anymore due to the size of the rubber grip and bulkier battery in the back.br /br /2.) Albeit minor, the docking cradle for the remotes is a bit challenging for to align so that you can recharge. You will know when you do or do not have it well placed in the socket but its just a little annoying having to adjust it.br /br /Overall its a sound investment if you're tired of swapping batteries and use your Wii a lot. Enjoy!
Works as promised May 12, 2007 The grip on the back is very nice, and I don't have to swap out batteries which can be a real pain when you forget.
MUST HAVE ITEM May 12, 2007 You will be so very, very happy you bought this. Instead of turning off the sound and rumble pack and STILL changing the batteries every other week, you will now place your controllers in a slick stand which keeps them nice and charged every day. You'll never lose your controllers, and in heated matches of wii tennis you'll be very glad for the no slip rubber backing. br /br /Folks, for the sake of our dear planet, buy this.
