It took me about two days and two packs of AA batteries to realize that my Wii was going to be more expensive than I anticipated. This made everything better. Plenty of gaming time of a full charge. A must have for your Wii. This will literally pay for itself within the first month.

Anytime a friend says they are getting a Wii, this is my first accessory recommendation. My son and I play the Wii regularly and I can't imagine the kind of batteries we'd be going through in the couple of months we have owned our system. The Nyko charger works great.br /br /Play to your hearts content and when you are done, just make sure that the Wiimotes find their way back to the charging stand. You'll know they are sitting down into the cradle because a blue light will come on when they make contact. Furthermore, you'll know you are at full charge when the light changes from blue to green. br /br /The charger doesn't have a very big footprint and sits neatly next to our TV on our entertainment center. For those who are diehard fashionistas, its also white, so it matches everything else in the system. All in all, its a must have accessory for your Wii and Amazon's prices is right on the money, especially when you can get in on free shipping on this item alone !

This item worked great - for about a month. For this price I would expect it to last longer but it has stopped charging the batteris even though the light tunrs green as if it is fully charged (how annoying is that when you go to play thinking the remote is charged it's not!). My friend has the same system the same problem so I know it is not a fluke. I suggest buying something cheaper, or as another posted suggested, rechargeable batteries.

Much better than batteries, however, the units are sometimes a pain to try to get in to charge. The outer shell has to be lifted and even then it is sometimes trial and error. I would recommend them just to save battery life and changing of batteries on a daily basis.
