Since the Wii only comes with one remote, most will need at least one more in order to play games for two or more players. This one is identical to the one from the game, a sturdy, well made remote that responds amazingly well with Wii games. Rechargeable batteries are definitely recommended, or you can get a dual remote charger from amazon that comes with battery packs and works well.

A must for Wii system December 31, 2008
Since Nintendo Wii package only includes only one set of Wiimote and Nunchuck, additional set is a must to play together. I ordered from amazon after short researching in the market. It's tax free and a few dollars cheaper than other places so it's the best price I've come across so far.br /The package came perfectly normal and works nicely.

Best price I could find on the controller. Even better with free shipping and no sales tax.br /br /Controller is the same as the one that came with the Wii. Definately worth having extras. We ended up getting three extras and one extra nunchuck.br /br /
