DS metallic rose January 1, 2009 All three of my kids have a DS. Nice sized screen and the games have great graphics and as long as you buy games within the appropriate age level, you are sure to have fun. Perfect size for travel and hardly ever have to be charged.
not just for the Brainiacts or gamers!! December 31, 2008 as a second generation gamer, this is my second hand held gaming unit. my first was the 3rd generation Handheld Gameboy system. I just want to improve my brain, and boy it is fun, not tooo challenging at first but as the game goes on, you "earn more games", they are more challenging and it tracks your process. Actually it's great fun, a great time passer and it really does help you improve your brain age. You are able to think faster on your feet and as the games get tougher, your brain is more challenged, like you'd expect. It's truly great for all ages, and it's fun!! My grandson, who is 6, even plays it. the games aren't that expensive, and it is just simply fun for all. I got the guitar hero game for the fun of it and it is also a fun game. So if you don't feel like training your brain, and just relaxing, plug in the guitar hero and watch the fun as everyone is trying to play that game, and it's a hilarious way for all to have fun together. As I said before, you can get the extra games for the other's around, and let them play and learn. I believe that for my grandson's birthday, Nana may buy him his own system, and get the games that are approiate for his age. I know that gaming helps them to improve their eye hand coordination and other things necessary to develope quick thinkers and coordination. I've seem it with my own children. So go out and just try it. it isn't that expensive, and truly is FUN!!! I also picked this color, because it represents my favorite College Football Team, GOOOO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!Nintendo DS Lite Crimson / Black
game for the non-gamer December 31, 2008 I have never been one to get excited about video games. I have had many different gaming systems and I have never really gotten into playing much. Well!! my husband bought me a nintendo DS lite for christmas and I have absolutely loved it. I play it everyday, but what I like isn't just that it is small, light and handheld, but also the games are brain teasing and fun. I get bored with the shoot em up stuff, but I love to solve problems, puzzles, ect and this has all that for me and some of the other for my husband. You can also get all the old nintendo games redone for this little gem.
Love it! December 30, 2008 I love the portability of the Ninentendo DS Lite. Lunch breaks, sitting in a doctor's office or wherever it's great to have some way to pass the time and not have to carry around a heavy book. These units are even smaller than a paperback.br /br /Lots of games are available for both genders, for kids and for adults. There is almost no learning curve on the Nintendo DS, they are very easy to use. And you can get about five hours of use on a decently bright setting before they need to be recharged.
My 5 year old daughter is thrilled December 30, 2008 My 5 year old daughter is thrilled with her first Nintendo DS lite... and it is pink! It took her about 5 minutes to domain the device and start playing like a pro. I recommend it a 100%
