Awesome Product! December 8, 2008
I purchased this for my eleven year-old son (this year for Christmas) to replace his old ds. A few years ago, I got him the "Nintendogs Best Friends" bundle. It's still cute, but they've made some improvements to the ds since then. This is the newer compact "lite" version with an enhanced ultra-bright backlight. The stylus is now larger for easier handling. Also, the Pokemon ds is really cool looking. It's shiny black on the outside with a metallic Pokemon on the front. (Inside it's matte black. This helps because fingerprints are pretty evident on the outside, because it's so glossy.) Also included is a Pokemon DVD (which I have not watched, as this is a gift) and a matching Pokemon case. This is a great item for any ds or Pokemon lover. I guess this means I get the old ds hand-me-down, but I'll probably sneak and play with the new one when my son's in school.

This product was bought as gift for my grandson and I will give it to him on Xmas. The product was shipped according to schedule. I'm sure my grandson will love his Xmas gift. NOTE: The ratings are an approximate since my grandson has not used this system.

This is a great hand-held system that has a professional appearence that's fits easily into a pursue or glove compartment. It's a wonderful product for working adults who want a little gaming excitement in their life. Brain Age 2 is a simple but wonderful game that truly develops the brain. You can train your brain by playing 1-2 minute games that test and develop your memory. I think it's a product that is worth your investment.

This was the second NDS for my family, the fist one was bought a year ago.br /br /We can play multiplayers mode with my son and have fun with him.

While Pokemon is geared towards children, this DS lite actually has a pretty mature art style. Images certainly don't do the thing justice. It's much better looking in person. The outside is cobalt/black and the inner lining is actually a dark shade of gray. I like that effect.br /br /A word of caution, the box is much more difficult to open than you might expect. It's flaps are simply glued in place. If you're buying this for your children, you probably should supervise the process or open it for them.
