Crayola Treasure Adventures Excellent Game November 2, 2008 My 4 year old, Carys loves this game, picked it up quickly. It was recommended by a Mom of a 3 year old. Very happy with it.br /br /I couldn't find it anywhere else but Amazon.
Finally a DS game that doesn't require reading! October 22, 2008 I bought the Nintendo DS for my daughter's fifth birthday, because she had such a good time playing with one at her friend's house.br /br /Well - what I didn't realize is that most of the "kids" games give written instructions along the way. And although I love playing with her, and helping her along, sometimes she wants to play by herself!br /br /This game, even though it does have written instructions, is intuitive enough for her to figure out.br /br /It has fun puzzles where you win extra drawings and crayons. She has a blast coloring all the different pictures she's won.br /br /I'd definitely recommend this game for the younger crowd.
Great for my 5 year old October 11, 2008 I bought this game for my son, who is 5 and in kindergarten, to play on my DS, since he is always begging to play it. This is a good game for him. The back story is cute, and he can figure out how to play with or without me reading it to him. He gets frustrated every now and then when he isn't coloring fast enough to advance in play, but what child doesn't? He also enjoys just coloring in the coloring side of the game. As other reviewers have said, I also wish there was a way to save or print the things he's colored. Overall, I'd recommend this game to any child between 4 and 6, depending on maturity level. We even have fun coloring together (taking turns of course)
Best game for a 3 1/2 year old kid...games coloring August 20, 2008 My 3 1/2 year old little boy found this game easy to play a ton of fun.
Perfect for the Younger Child August 17, 2008 Our 4 year old enjoys playing this game. It includes coloring, puzzles, and dot to dot which teaches basic numerical order. Games for the younger child are hard to find for the DS and I was pleased that this one proved to be fun. It provided entertainment for our 4 year old son on a 3 1/2 hour plane ride.
