 Still working great after six months, even with toddler abuse! December 15, 2008
The sleeve does the job of cushioning the board slightly (which is important to me because I have rheumatoid arthritis) and keeping grime from accumulating on the balance board itself. The glow in the dark sleeve was about $5 more than the other colors when I bought it, but I'm a sucker for anything that glows in the dark! (Yes, I'm a kid at heart.)br /br /I'm not sure what the reviewers who complained about their sleeves ripping did to it, since I can't see how it would happen. The silicone isn't thick, but it covers the board fine without stretching much or even beginning to tear. My two-year-old has tugged on it to try to take it off the board several times, and she can destroy almost anything, but it's still going strong!

Be very careful when installing, because it is thin and can easily rip. Attracts a lot of lint, dust, etc. Does glow in the dark~!

The sleeve fit perfectly, no problems. I just wish the blue was dark like in the picture. The sleeve is a very, very pale blue.

I have placed this on my own board and a neighbor's board. Both times the sleeve went on without a problem, just use a little care and take your time. Is it thin? Well yes as it should be to just cover the board. To me the main benefit is that the board does not get dirty and it gives a little extra slip resistance for us. Overall does what it should at a low price.
Not that bad December 2, 2008
After reading all the other reviews, I didn't think this was a bad product. No rips or tears and we are pretty rough on our board. It even survived a trip to Florida for T-Day. My only complaint is that it is smooth. It makes it easy to clean, but isn't as non-slip as I was hoping for.
