3 out of 5 stars A real pain in the neck!   June 15, 2005

Alright, so if you want to succeed in Pokemon Stadium, or Pokemon Stadium 2, you'll really need to get a N64 Transfer Pack to transfer your Game Boy Pokemon into your Nintendo 64 game. Great, with this transfer pack you have everything you need to succeed, but look out, this little baby has a lot of flaws. For one thing, it is not very stable, a quick move of your controller could lose the connection and if you are in the middle of one of the big Pokemon Stadium battles, that could really make you angry.br /It takes several tries to get your Pokemon game pack, your transfer pack and your controller to "synchronize," you may get the pop-up message "There was a problem with the transfer pack" message a lot of times before you finally get it correctly into place and even then, it might quit on you when you least expect it. br /This item is very expensive and not very reliable, so you might want to think about getting it used, since it is unlikely that it has suffered any damage as it is pretty durable. Another problem is that very few Game Boy games are compatible with this, if you don't have a GB, then make sure the games you buy are compatible before spending the large ammount of money on them. If your life on Nintendo 64 and Game Boy revolves around Pokemon, then having two transfer packs would take away the need for a Game Boy, because in Pokemon Stadium, you can easily trade Pokemon using two transfer packs and two compatible Pokemon cartriges and you can simply play the game on Nintendo 64 without the need of a Gameboy, however, this advice is for Pokemon-only players only.br /br /In conclusion, the transfer pack is pretty much required to beat Pokemon Stadium (One comes with that game), as well as Pokemon Stadium 2. If you have the sequel but not the original, then you'll probably find yourself in need of your trusted Game Boy Pokemon at some point.

5 out of 5 stars SO MUCH MORE FUN WITH THIS BAD BOY!!!!!   November 27, 2004

With this little gadget you can do ALL KINDS OF STUFF! I got this with Pokemon Stadium and you can you can use your own Pokemon from Red, Blue, and Yellow [sold seperatly] and battle them on the TV screen! How cool is that?! Just don't put Missingno. on there for he can glitch the game. Mew is fine. Worth your money! Though I got mine at Gamestop for 99 cents but if it costed more it would be worth it!

5 out of 5 stars If You have Pokemon Stadium, This Is A Must-Have Accessory!   June 16, 2004

When I got this accessory for my Nintendo 64 and my Pokemon Stadium game, I had a BLAST! With this accessory and Pokemon Stadium, you can:p- Transfer Pokemon from Pokemon RED or Pokemon Blue (EACH SOLD SEPERATELY) to Pokemon Stadium and battle them.br- Play your Pokemon Red or Blue on the big screen!br- And more!

5 out of 5 stars Does what it is supposed to; no problems or complaints.   August 5, 2003
It is pretty self-explanitory why this thing was made to go with Pokemon Stadium, but many of those people don't now that it also goes with many other game boy games now, such as Perfect Dark. If you like to interact your Game Boy and N64, get this because it it pretty cool.

2 out of 5 stars Interesting idea, but there is a problem   June 13, 2002

This pak is basically only for the Pokemon Stadium game, which is quite fun for me, since I love the strategy of Pokemon. Anyway, I got this and did not know that Pokemon Gold did not work with Pokemon Stadium (1) and I also discovered that you cannot mix and match Pokemon. For example, load one pokemon into the game and then rent pokemon of that type. Maybe I am not very experienced with this, or did not read up on the product more. However, if you can get it for a low price it is interesting. But, it hasn't worked for me since I lost my Pokemon Red game...brPros:br1) You can add more pokemon that you cannot rentbr2) You can play the gameboy versionbr3) It is a low price (especially when you get it used)brCons:br1) Not enough games that work for itbr2) Simply, not really much point
