The N64 had some of the best games on the planet and eventhough N64 was a great system it ended too quickly cause of the Gamecube. The N64 launched in some were in 96' and it launched some great titles and some incredible games. The N64 is one of the best systems ever but it also had a short lived history. I mean they could have come up with wayyyyyy more games No...br /br /The N64 was one of Nintendo's finest and is probably better then the gamecube. The gamecube didn't have much launch games but N64 did. It had some amazing graphics and some really amazing games.br /br /The N64 was at one point BETTER then Playstation and It could have but in the end the PS beat it. But make no mistake about. The N64 launched some pretty amazing games. Hell SOME OF THE BEST GAMES EVER Created. Sure N64 is old and cheap but it still has some really awesome games like br /br /Super Mario 64br /Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time(greatest game ever)br /Perfect Darkbr /Conker's Bad Fur Daybr /Starfox 64 br /Paper Mariobr /F-zero Xbr /Didy Kong Racingbr /Donkey Kongbr /br /and some more....br /br /You will get your 5 bucks worth of this system and I think it should cost more then that eventhough it's out datedbr /br /It has amazing games, an amazing console and some really impressive graphics and that is why this is one of the best systems ever...But it aint' no Dreamcast I can tellz ya that.br /br /This systems earns a 5 out of 5 starsbr /br /Let alone Getting Ocarina of time is worth this system. I think playing the N64 is really fun. it might be older, but now it costs less and you cant scratch any disks because - there arent any!

I like and enjoy my 64 and quite contrary to the belief 64s and Nintendos for that matter do not ''stink''. Sometimes I wish that Nintendo would keep creating games but they have stopped(You can still get great deals on unused older 64 games at a great deal on ebay). Yes I must admit sometimes I wish I could own a ps2 or xbox because they do have updated superb games but I still love my Nintendo.br4 stars because the graphics are (somtimes) a little cheesy.

This gaming system is great! Although it may not be as updated as Playstation2 or Xbox it's still got a lot to offer. First of all and my favorite is that it dosen't have limited edition colors. It's colors are always avalible. My favorite color is red fire which is a clear dark orange color. I'm proud to be a 64 owner.

I have 2 N64's set up in the house which I just bought a few months ago. Since then I have bought and sold a ton of them, so I know they are popular! The thing that I love is this - plenty of kid friendly games (Elmo, Tigger and the bunch). The most important thing to me was that it was one of the final generation cartridge systems. This is important when you have 2-4 year olds who can't grasp, don't touch the back of the CD - no matter how many thousands of times you tell them. The carts are perfect, no fingerprint issues, virtually indescructible! Good selection of games and decent graphics too!
