 An all time classic April 6, 2006
Goldeneye 007 on the now obsolete Ninetndo 64 is still to this day my favourite game of all time. Before the Nintendo 64 arrived i was a massive Sega fan, nothing anyone said could put me off my Sega obsession. And then i played Mario 64 and everything changed. I went out and swapped my Sega Saturn and all it's games for a brand new Nintendo 64 and a second hand copy of Mario 64 and i never looked back. Then allmost a year later Goldeneye 007 arrived and introduced me to a whole new genre. You see before Goldeneye, i had never played a first person shooter so it was all new to me. I also happened to be a huge James Bond fan at the time so i was quite excited about playing this for the first time, and i was not dissapointed. Everything about this game just worked so well, it had the right feel a bond game should have. It was also one of the most addictive multi-player games ever. Me and me mates would spend hours playing this game. The weapons are some of the best ever in a first person shotter. The snipper riffle in particular was awsome to use and the tank levels were so much fun. Since Goldeneye there been some trully amazing shooters including the brilliant Half-Life, but for some reason i have yet to play a game that has that same magic as Rare's wonderful game. If you haven't played this yet then you don't know what you're missing.
A Good Bond Game! April 3, 2006
This is a good shoot'em up game if yur that kind of guy! Cool weapons,cool characters,many challenges! This overall is a good game may not be the best but it's good! Good graphics for N64 and has fun to play multiplayer with modes such as The Man With the golden gun and You Only Live Twice! Over 20 missions of fun and excitement! If yur a big 007 fan this is one of the best games oyut thur in the 007 dynasty!

It was my First fave game EVER.br /br /Does anyone know if its getting ported to Nintendo DS or PSP(It won`t matter i have both DS/PSP) or possibly remade for the XBox 360,since MicroSoft own Rareware games now-RARE needs to get that 007 license back off EA Games-only two of their 007 games are good(Everything Or Nothing and TWINE) but the rest are just crap,crap,crap.br /The best action game on PS1:Metal Gear Solid got remade-So 007 GoldenEye should too.br /br /If it is to be ported to PSP or DS keep it the same(the PSP version with better graphics) and add some NET play.br /br /If it is to be REMADE(most likely and preferably XBox 360):br /br /-Keep EVERYTHING from the original,weapons,characters,levels.br /br /-Better graphics-new things like more faces.br /br /-Speech w/subtitles that are removable.br /br /-Add a couple of more weapons.br /br /-Add some more soundtract.br /br /-Upgraded guard etc. AI-like the guards should talk to each other(Russian accent too) more preferably be funny like talk to each other about pawn(just like MGS).br /br /-Keep normal multi-player as good as it was but add some more stuff liek stages and stuff.br /br /-Aside to MultiPlayer mode also include ONLINE MODE thats also good.br /br /-Add some more missions that have original ideas-about 5-10 more would be nice.br /br /-There you have a much better Goldeneye game-Remade for XBOX 360,anyone agree?br /br /-Oh and add the ability to go into 3rd Person View since that is what Bond games have been using lately(still keep FPS mode)br /br /-And about Online there should also be some extra maps(aswell as maps from the single player).br /br /-There you would get maybe ONE of the most memorable XBox 360 games.(sadly not THE most)

this game revolutionized fps and gaming in general. a lot of people say the graphics arnt good, but hmm... this game was made 1, no, 2, wait 9 years ago! when i have friends over we can sit and play this game for hours at a time. multiplayer has so many different options, i suggest proximity mines only, and such big levels. one player is just as good. it provides a good challenge without being so impossible. the controls are perfect, a newborn could learn them they are so easy to figure out. over all the game is just so awsome. words cant express my feelings about it. this game has cause me to lose so many hours of sleep because it rocks so much. br /br /graphics: 4.9/5 come on, it was made in '97 what do you expectbr /br /sound: 5/5 pretty realistic gun soundsbr /br /multiplayer: 10/5 so awsome!!!!!!!!!!!br /br /everything else: 5/5br /br /
GREAT GAME,SHOULD BE REMADE.. January 24, 2006
It was a brilliant First Person Shooter(FPS) game from the day it hit markets to the day last gen. ended,Like other classic Nintendo 64 titles,AND PlayStation(1) titles,like Metal Gear Solid.It had very various missions in goosd environments,from the snows of Siberia to the Jungles of Cuba,from inside bunkers and Chemical Weapons facilities to the War torn streets of St.Petersburg.But i want this game remade,i know RareWare no longer belong to Nintendo,and is now with MicroSoft-and RareWare does not have the 007 Jame Bond game licence no more-EA Games have it and their only decent Bond games are TWINE,Everything Or Nothing and From Russia With Love,and they are not as good as 007 GoldenEye.So instead of another Bond game next year,why not remake 007 GE?-It would rather be fore XBox 360,Nintendo DS or PlayStation Portable-Most likely XB 360.A remake would be great!-THey could punch in updated graphics,and add about 10-15 new levels and keep the old ones-The SAME,just like "The Twin Snakes" was MGS1 remade for GameCube-Also they could add maybe some gadgets and new manovres-c`mon "007 GoldenEye" deserves to be be remade,it was a success in sales-and is still remembered.Don`t choo guys agree?-Oh, and some actual Speech would be nice-James Bond,Natalya Siminova,the Jail Guard(I would laugh if they made him to be like The Metal Gear Solid games funny Jail Guard-Johnny Sasaki !),Col.Ourmov,006 etc.br /Bye.
