 Great for the whole family December 28, 2008
I bought this game for my 12 year old daughter and 10 year old son. They absolutely love it and have spent hours playing it, along with my husband who never plays video games! Definitely a great buy and a great gift!
Rock Band December 27, 2008
This game is awesome! It was a family Christmas present and so far we've spent a lot of time "rocking" out. It's a great game for all of us to play and have a lot of fun.
Rock Band Special Edition for Wii December 27, 2008
We purchased Rock Band for our kids for Christmas. It has been a fun game, and the kids and my husband and I have played it a lot. There are two things I noticed though, that you might want to know. The guitar hero guitar is NOT compatible with rock band. YOu get a guitar, drums and microphone, but if you want to play bass you have to purchase as seperate guitar. The second thing my kids noticed is that you cannot make your own characters like you can on the xbox 360 version or ps version. The kids however, did buy the rockband II game and you can do so with that. Overall, I give this game a 4, because of the above mentioned things, but it is worth the money and a lot of fun.

Rockband is truly a concept that is fun for the whole family. Hopefully they will come out with more software that is compatible!
So Much Fun December 27, 2008
"Santa" brought this to my son for x-mas and the family played 16hrs straight. I really love the guitars you don't get that clack clack noise from the buttons and strum bar like with Guitar Hero(playstation 2)also I like how it will cut itself off when left idle for to long. I read the reviews prior to buying and noticed negative comments about foot petal for drums so I bought a metal petal from Valuepetal.com and I highly recommend it because the plastic petal does look like it won't take much of a pounding also he has already broke one of the drum stick hence the 4 stars. We also got Rock Band 2(game only)that is alot of fun too.
