 Elmo Live: A Winner January 6, 2009
This was given to a 1-year-old. He was completely fascinated with the incredible ability of Elmo Live to move this mouth, hands and arms. The voicing is at a very good level. It would have been helpful to have instructions WHERE the buttons to push for each saying were on Elmo.
Elmo Live January 6, 2009
I got Elmo for my 2 year old for Christmas. She loves it. She plays with him everyday and responds to all of his questions. She has even started reciting his stories back to him. The only problem that I have had with him is that sometimes he seems to short out and not finish his story, but when this happens we just give him a break and he works fine again. He does get used quite a bit in our house. This is a very adorable toy and we are extremely happy with our purchase.

Our 16 month old daughter eventually warmed up to Elmo and is now having fun interacting with him. I do agree with other reviews that the sounds from the moving parts are sometimes too loud and tends to muffle Elmo's songs and speeches but overall, we think it is a good toy.
