 A great game for the pokemon fan that loves a challenge! December 29, 2005

This game is very cool and fun! But I took off a star because it is extremely chalenging! The first time I battled team rocket in this game I was scared! But then I got used to it, it really was not that scary once I beat them! It was my first pokemon game! Well this game will keep you busy for a long time,(unless you worked on it with no sleep at all which I did and my teeth went numb!) This game should only be played by someone who knows how to read so that means no five year olds or six! Overall I love this game and I hope you do to!!!br /

Pokemon Firered is a game that keeps you playing forever!You canbr /trade wirelessly at any pokemon center (with the wireless adapter).Most of all you can capture pokemon --Powerful Ones--br /including Ho-oh,Lugia,and Celebi!You can even capture Johtobr /Pokemon!The Elite Four members include:Lorelei,Bruno,Agatha,andbr /Lance.Lorelei has ice-type and water-type pokemon.Bruno has Rockbr /and Fighting-type pokemon.Agatha has ghost and poison-types.Lance has Water and Dragon-types.Tips:On Gyarados don't use a Electric-types they aren't useful at all.Make sure you stock up on a lot of items after leaving the Indigo Plateau because your rival Gary is going to challenge you to a battle.br /Then...the moment you've been waiting for...you can capture Zapdos,Articuno,and Moltres!!In the game make your PokeDex an unbeatable team.Did I mention you can capture MewTwo,Mew,Raikou,Entei,and Suicune!!Oh yeah!At the Celadon Game Corner,you can get a Shadow Ball which is Ghost-type.Try trading with your friends for pokemon!For example Pidgey for a Raticate.Make sure you either pick Squirtle or Bulbasaur they can win the first four battles for you.Please buy this game!!br /br /

This game is a remake of the original red and blue pokemon games. while the first 2 were really good because the concept of pokemon was new, these are just remakes of the first one. pointless if you ask me. why would nintendo make a game exactly the same as the first. Yeah, you can link up with ruby and saphire, but why? It doesn't help the pokedex, in ruby and saphire, but it also doesn't help in fire red and leaf green. And why did they give it a different ad like,"new concept captures the game better." and also a different title I mean, I can imagine something like "POKEMON BLUE ADVANCE" but giving it a totaly different title is dumb. I don't think making this game has a point. if you want this game don't get it. Get red or blue. The originals you can't find in stores but you can find it online
