Where to plug the controller January 2, 2009 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Dance Revolution Game itself is a lot of fun. If you are getting this for the first time and wondering where to plug the dance mat controller, it is not in your manual... it is located on the top end of the wii and pretty hard to see. You have to remove the cover and there are 4 slots available that you can use for additional game controllers. This would have been a 5 if the manual was a little bit more helpful on where to plug the controller :)
Not for Little Kids December 30, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
This game is to complex for my 10 year old and 7 year old to manuever around in. It is a good workout.
Good Game but check which slot you plug into!!!! December 29, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Got this for the kids for Christmas. Hooked it up per the instructions but couldn't get it to work once the actual dance starts. Spent a couple of frustrating hours messing with the settings before going online to see if there was anything out there. Found out through the posts that if you plug it into the slot shown in the instructions it won't work. Please see the questions in the forumn for more information. Good game once I figured that out.
Love it but..... December 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this game, it is great excercise, you even have to use nunchuks aswell (you can turn this feature off though), but I thought it would have more/better songs on it. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the song issue. I thought for the price the songs would have been originals and there would be more of them. Apart from that I love this game and can look beyond the songs because of the fun factor. My whole family are up off the couch to play this game, love it!
Good workout December 27, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It needs to come with instructions. I wanted this for working out and at first, I could not figure out how to get it to play songs continuously in work out mode. I needed to set songs in course music and not go into free music mode. You need to take the first lesson in groove arena to unlock some stuff even though the lesson only teaches you to step on the up arrow when you see an up arrow on the screen.br /I don't like how it only has pieces of the songs instead of the whole song.br /I use the dance pad on a rug. It slips a lot but has held up well over the last month of use.br /I like using it and I think keeps workouts interesting. I think it was worth the $67 I paid for it.br /There are gimmicks turned on by default but I turned them off because they were too distracting for me. This is my first ddr game purchase so there was a lot I needed to learn and get used to. The games also end early if you do a bad job and lose lots of points. That can be turned off so it plays to the end of the song.
