A game the whole family wants to try January 3, 2009 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I hesitantly bought this for my 6 year old Daughter. I thought it could be too hard for her. She hasd't really taken to any of our other wii games so I was trying to find stuff that would really peak her interest. TO my surprise she REALLY Enjoys trying this game! Even if someone else is playing she will stand next to them and try the moves. Luckily she doesn't get discouraged if she passes or fails. If you have a child who would be easily discouraged that could be a problem while learning the moves. She really enjoys moving to the music!br /My 8 year old son has also tried and enjoyed the game as have Mom and Dad!br /It is always fun to find games we all want to play as a family.
Lots of fun January 2, 2009 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this game for myself as it looked like a fun way to get off the couch. It is a lot of fun and really works the arms, back and abs with all the movements. I've been using the Wii Fit for the step workout (legs) and yoga, and then We Cheer for my arms. It's really entertaining and you can work up a sweat with it. Granted, the interface is lame, and tedious, but there's an option to skip over most of it. My hubby cracks up over this game, and my kids like playing it too.
More Fun than An adult would Expect!!! December 31, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
You know, I have to admit I 1/2 brought this game for my girls aged 12 - 14, and 1/2 because it looked like fun from the video clips. And Guess what, it is Soooo much fun! I am a full grown adult and I had my entire family jumping around and swinging their arms like Cheerleaders to this over Christmas (oh yeah, and the girls loved it too!). Some times it is challenging to get the arm movements synced with the wii-remote, but for the most part...it syncs perfectly. To be honest, it is more user error when it isn't quite linked up the way it should on the routines.br /br /The workout mode is a blast and funny with the "poofing" kid-pounds. You really work up a sweat for the whole thing either way.br /br /The Music is fun but for the kids, K-C and the Sunshine band is goofy, but the routine is one of their favorites! My sisters and I (all of us over 30 by the way, plus one of our aunts - over 40) had a ball for hours. br /br /My nephews (ages 6 - 12) all played this game with great fun and enjoyed it without feeling any issues about gender. My 2 yr old Niece even took a turn. Too bad I couldn't say the same for the silly men in my family (lol)..Whimps! :)br /br /Despite the cheer leaders having on tiny outfits, you do get to win new ones that aren't as short and they don't show any unmentionable part with any of the outfits so it is kept clean. But even if that wasn't an option, these girls look so much like doll babys and bratz...no kid in his or her right mind is really looking at them in any negative way. They are truly too busy having fun concentrating on hitting the rhythm, making the move and succeeded at the game to care! Highly recommended to all age groups. A really Party Game for everyone!!!br /
So much fun December 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My daughters are eight years old and have been playing this game for 2 days now. They love it. It was easy for them to figure out the moves and the music is fun to listen to. They said it was their favorite Wii game so far. It's good exercise and I can even use it for workouts in the workout mode. No extra equipment is needed, just the basic Wii remotes.
addddddictive!!! especially if you have are a competetive family December 29, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My granddaughter got this for Christmas ... we got here 3 days ago and haven't stopped the "competing". From 52 to 5 years of age ... we have all had a blast with this game! Husbands and wives are competing with each other with the husbands winning most of the time. br /br /Holding the remotes, each hand must follow the colored (red and blue) arrows on the screen. In a bubble at the top of the screen, it will tell you how each hand is doing at following the motions. We haven't been able to "Pass" any of the levels yet mainly because we are having too much fun just competing against each other. You have different songs with various levels of difficulty and also beats per minutes (bpm) from slower to faster.br /br /I will update more as we go.
