Fun on Wheels December 28, 2008 This game is wonderful. I have never had so much fun driving a race car. It takes a while to master the steering craves, but throuh it all the laughs just keep on coming. The animation is wonderful, the characters to choose from are great, the little comments they make throught out the game, just add so much realizism to it. There are so many courses to choose from, that you will not get boared playing, no matter how many times you play it, the results are never the same. The two person games are just as fun as the solo games. I don't like the 4-person play, it's just to many split screens to contend with. If you like fast pace action you will love this.
Wii mario kart December 28, 2008 This game is fun!!! Laughed the whole time playing it. Graphic are great. All ages played. 80 year old mother thru 7 year old nephew.
Fun with a side of Frustration December 27, 2008 i had a hard time thinking of how to score this review. i love this game, but after reading all of the one-two star reviews i realized how much of that ranting is true and i got stuck between a five star or a 1 star. i came to realize that had i never read those reviews, iwould have never thought about the game's negative elements, so i compromised on four stars.br /let me start off with saying that this is a winderful game, but i would not recomend it to someone who is easily frustrated or a younger child. the npc drivers always seem to knock you out of the race and put you in twelfth (last) place right when you are about to cross the finish line in first place. you can only get good items when you are aroung last placem, and you usually only get things like bananas when you are in the lead. the wii wheel is a lot more fun, just harder to control and overall not as rewarding. the kind of thing where it is better to have a cup of coffee prior to usage. winning is ver gratifying, but only because it is so hard to do so. the characters come in a wide variety, they are just excrusiatingly hard to unlock. the stages are rich in color, and a little easier to unlock than the characters. they also all have their own individual unique musical score, which i quite enjoy listening to. it is a great party game, best played with two or more people. overall, it is a great game, that could use many improvements.
Mother of 2 boys December 27, 2008 This game is a lot of fun! The boys got it for Christmas and just can't get enough of it. There are so many variations of play that I think it will take months to play them all. It is very cool too that if your Wii is connected to the internet you can play opponents from all over the world - the one draw back though seems to be that it can take a few minutes to get connected with everyone and in the game lineup. We were booted several times while waiting. Once you are in the circuit though the games are quick and fun.
I feel like I am in a arcade. December 27, 2008 This is ok. Some of the graphics are not the best. But it is fun. I feel like I am sitting at one of the arcade driving games when I play this. My daughter loves this. Although falling off a cliff does scare her. br /I would tell people to purchase the game.
