Backwards and useless for Call of Duty games January 4, 2009 I have played Call of Duty 3 and World at War using the Wii Zapper and marvel at the fact the trigger is in absolutely the wrong place - in front. It's as though some hippie from San Francisco who never saw a real gun conceived of the Wii Zapper and its implementation through Call of Duty. Note to game developers. The correct position for a trigger is to the rear!!! Call of Duty 3 allowed you one option to use the Z button at the rear for firing but then required you to use the cross toggle buttons to maneuver ala PS2 10 years ago. World at War does not allow you to use the Z button for firing. Do not buy the Zapper if you've actually operated a weapon before, you WILL be disappointed.
Ruined gameplay December 31, 2008 I picked this up after I bought Call Of Duty World At War thinking it would be awesome with a 1st person shooter. Man was I wrong, using the Wii Crapper actually increases the learning curve of the game leading you to suck at the gameplay longer, not a good thing for online play. I'm returning mine to Walmart. I'd give that place 1 star too.
My 11 year old doesn't like..... December 31, 2008 While it's probably a better product than he thinks, I'm rating this based on his experience. He's only played it the once and because of his opinion, he hasn't reached for it to use it again. He didn't like that you couldn't pull the trigger and shoot with it in the real way you do with a gun; ie. with your pointer finger on the same arm hand you aim with. It bothered him a lot that right now he has a bad attitude with it. I'll try to review again once he's had more time with it and once me or my husband use it.
Great Bonus Game included December 28, 2008 There is a great bonus game included which really can help you develop the skills you need to get better at Cabella's
Wii zapper December 28, 2008 Would not have paid more than $20 bucks for it, but it works well and the training disk that comes with it is a bonus....
