GHOST SQUAD ROCKS!!! March 26, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you enjoyed the arcade version of Ghost Squad you will like this version even better! Many more sections to each level to explore! The Nyko Perfect Shot is a must for this game and any other gun game!
Modern Virtua Cop March 25, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This game reminds me so much of the Virtua cop and Virtua squad games from back in the day, I used to love those games and play them over and over trying to beat my score. I like the fact that you can calibrate the wiimote to get it to work more accurately then other wii shooter games. I tried it with the wii zapper but found it easier with out it.br /
Ghost Squad February 26, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This game is just like the arcade version. A little cheezy but A LOT of fun! It works with or with out a Wii gun. There are three levels that change depending on what you choose to do. My husband and I love it, we play together all the time!
Great game for the price February 23, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This games is definately alot of fun and reminds me of the days of duck hunt and the light gun. Even though not a true light gun you can adjust your aim so that you can "eye up" your shot. This game is much better with a gun peripheral. There are only three levels but each time you beat them more options are opened up so that you can take different paths each time you play. This adds to the replay value. In all this game is worth the price and very addicting. I find myself playing over and over to try and unlock more guns and stages to the levels. The multiplayer is alot of fun too and up to 4 people can blast away at terrorists. So get some friends together and shoot 'em up!
Fun for about an hour February 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was really excited to relive my Arcade Shooter days with Ghost Squad but it just didn't quite deliver. Overall it's a fun title and if you can get it for $20 or less then it's a must have but you'll probably have just as much fun renting it. After about the first hour of playing it starting getting "same old same old" status and it's a VERY short game, we killed it in an afternoon. The controller calibration is kinda flawed in my opinion as well. It really forces you to stand back father thatn you may want to, or have the room to. I also found my arm getting tired quicker than while playing other Wii games. However using the Wii Zapper this game really shines well, being able to steady your "gun" with two hands not only makes it easier to play but also adds that "Arcade realism" feel to the game. The levels are kinda blah and the graphics aren't anything you didn't see 5 years ago in the arcade BUT it's still fun, even if for only an afternoon or so.
