I am not going to go into a lot of things about the game. The graphics are really good for the Wii ( it was designed for the Wii's processing power unlike a lot of games)!!! Also, it is just plain fun!!! I really recomend this game. It is one of the best games I have ever played on the wii!!!It is really awesome with the Wii zapper.

4 out of 5 stars Great Light Gun Fun for your Wii   December 18, 2007

Ghost Squad is a short little light gun game that is lots of fun and offers tons of replay value. The price just makes it that much better. If you're a fan of the genre or you just like shooting stuff get this game.

3 out of 5 stars A Few Hours of Fun!!   December 17, 2007

br /I was excited for a multi-player shooting game. I have fond memories of the Lethal Enforcers games from the 90's and was hoping to get into that again. Ghost Squad gave me that, but only for a few hours. There are only 3 levels. Each level takes about 5-7 minutes to complete. With 1 player it was difficult to beat the first time, but with 2 players it was very easy. After you finish the game, you have the option of playing the levels again, and accessing new areas. I thought this was fun, but again, only for a few hours.br /br /I got about 5-6 hours of fun out of this, which made it a great rental. For only $[...], this game would also be a lot of fun for some mindless fun. Playing party mode, with 4 people is insanely fun and easy. It's worth a try.br /br /I say it is a solid rental, and for $[...], don't expect a lot of depth. It has replay value with the fun and interactive costumes, but in the end, it is just the same thing over and over.br /

4 out of 5 stars Sega arcade goodness for the wii zapper   December 17, 2007

As there are only a handful of shooters on the Wii designed for use with the new zapper it is hard to really split hairs. This is an ARCADE light gun game that doesn't deliver the big storyline gameplay length and arc that many gamers have come to expect from shooters instead GHOST SQUAD takes its ARCADE origins and puts them in your living room like VIRTUA COP on the Saturn before it. The zapper feels good as snapping offscreen to reload doesn't diorient as much as it does in some LG games.br /The reticle is accurate and is just sensitive enough for the games Sniper scenes. The characters landscape and gameplay have that classic SEGA feel and look and the unlockable weapons and costumes will keep you coming back to the three multi route levels alone and with a friend in multiplayer, how many times a day can the president get kidnapped? Short sweet and to the point if you have the Wii Zapper you want this game.

4 out of 5 stars A few quick tips   November 30, 2007

This game is a lot of fun to play, and I would highly recommend it. If you decide to pick it up, here are a few quick tips that may be helpful:br /br /1.) I don't know who at Nintendo came up with the crazy idea that the trigger on the front of the zapper (i.e., "B" button) should be the firing trigger, but this game follows that trend when you select the zapper mode. However, if you choose the Wiimote + Nunchuk mode, it reverses the buttons. In this mode, the button located where a trigger would normally be (i.e., "Z" button) becomes the trigger, and the "B" button becomes the action button. It's a lot more fun to play this way. So, if you're using a zapper, don't pick the zapper mode. Pick the Wiimote + Nunchuk mode.br /br /2.) Although this game supports 480p, it does NOT support widescreen. If you play in this mode, everything looks a little stretched out, although it's tolerable. The gameplay itself doesn't look too bad. You really notice it the most when octagon shaped dialog items appear on the screen.br /br /3.) If you have a large TV, this game requires you to be REALLY far back in order to properly calibrate the aim. For my 57" TV, I have to be about 12' back before it will allow me to aim directly at the calibration targets. If you change the TV from widescreen mode to 4:3 mode, it helps a little with the distance.br /br /As a side note, once you do calibrate the aim properly, the aiming is extremely accurate provided that you have a large TV and are using the zapper. In the arcade game, the crosshairs are always jumping around a little, which makes the sniper sessions a little difficult (in a frustrating way, not in a good way). With a large TV and a zapper, the sniper sessions are much easier.
