Product Description The Nintendo 64 was designed as a party machine, with four controller ports just begging to be filled. Bag up to three friends and experience how already astounding games like Mario Kart 64, Mario Party and Donkey Kong 64 can blossom into laugh-a-minute multiplayer gameplay marathons. That '64' relates to the 64 bits of meaty graphics power that the Nintendo 64 brings to your TV. Using every graphical trick in the book, Nintendo 64 invites you to explore breathtaking 3D worlds that explode with color, dance with real-time lighting effects and light up your ears with CD-quality sound.Breaking new ground in input device design, Nintendo devised the first analog Control Stick for the Nintendo 64 Controller, blessing gamers with complete 360-degree control of every game. The unique three-pronged design molds perfectly into your hand, and 13 other buttons - including a handy Z button below-center - round off this pioneering package. Give Nintendo a hand!

The 3rd generation of nintendo. December 23, 2002 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have only had this system for 2 years but I already have 12 or 11 games. My personal favorite The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. Don't forget the N64 was the King of gaming sytems. It sure beat PS1 in Grapics and Audio sound but it lost in Game selection. I do agree with most of my N64 comrades that this system is more for younger gamers but thats Ok with me since I have 4 younger sisters. Sure I would like a PS2 or Gamecube but N64 is a good all around system. I got the system with an Atomic purple controller and a normal grey controller. I really want 4 more games before you can't find games in stores anymore. I really want Majora's Mask the 2nd Zelda game for the N64. Today I was at the Mall when I saw a kid with 3 N64 games I couldn't believe he had bought that many games from the same store since N64 games are hard to find. If anybody reads this review and you have a N64 in your closet and your playing your PS2 switch them and play some classic N64. Let your PS2 fell the neglect that your N64 gets all the time. Since you'll stick your PS2 in closet to play PS3 one day if a PS3 ever comes out. I hope my review was helpful.

Best Of The Best September 11, 2001 1 out of 6 found this review helpful
Buying a system? Whell wat are ya waiten for. BUY NINTENDO 64. First, Want grafics, games, or both? Not hard you want both. N64 has both for 70$. PS1 has o.k. grafics and games for the same price about. Deamcast has awful games and great grafics for about the same price. Finally, you got PS2, It has both, FOR TWICE AS MUCH? N64 is the best value. I got N64, and I'm keeping it forever. Untill they make 3D systems N64 the best. My next system I'm going to buy is Game Cube because it's nintendo & nintendo RULES.

I dont like the color much but that is okay.
Dont mess with Game shark June 16, 2001 1 out of 7 found this review helpful
First, don't get me wrong. N64 has some fun games (like Perfect Dark, Pokemon Stadium, Zelda), even though it is now behind in technology. (Playstation 2 and even Sega Dreamcast have more processing power). The biggest plus about N64 is the many 4-player games it has. The BAD THING about N64 is the way Nintendo keeps blocking the Gameshark. WHY???? Gamesharks are expensive, and only hard core game fans buy them. SO WHY MAKE US MAD BY BLOCKING THEM??? My gameshark just got ruined because of Nintendo's safeguards. I am so upset that there is no way I am going to buy the next Nintendo system. I'm going with Playstaion 2. They dont mess with the shark!
