boom boom boom super sonic warriors June 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was a awsome DBZ game. The intenseity was great the fighting was hot, this was a great fun game. This is the best DBZ game that came out for gameboy advance and buus fury but this was awsome, great action, intese fighting, air fighting combat, and great storymode, this was a hot game so intense.
Dragonball Z Supersonic Warriors........... July 5, 2006 Supersonic Warriors is the best 2-D fighter to grace the Gameboy Advance hands-down. With fifteen unlockable and playable characters, several different play modes like story, tag team and survival modes as well as link cable support for two players; Supersonic Warriors will most definitely please diehard DBZ fans as well as Gameboy Advance fans looking for some good fighting fun for their handheld. br /br /The game has smooth animation and a great flowing camera to keep up with all the action going on onscreen. Control is dead-on for the most part. Overall, it's presentation is top-notch. br /br /I highly recommend this game to Gameboy Advance owners out there. It's an awesome game. I loved it.
Best DBZ game for gba November 9, 2005 This is THE BEST DBZ game i've played, and i've played them all besides GT. The only bad part is that playing with lvl 1 characters against lvl 1 characters is too easy, especialy with goku. br /I'd say all dragon ball z fans should get this game.br /Btw, super-saiyan is not abreviated ssj.
Pretty good?! January 30, 2005 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
i'm a real dbz fan and this game is sorta good. the graphics are great and you can play as dr. gero android#17,18 and other players and the androids have unlimited power but i think it's bad because it is so easy to beat. you can buy the characters at the shop icon but i think buu's fury is better than this game. you can also use spirit bomb, instant transmission the kamehameha wave turn your opponents to chocolate with majin buu and use final flash with vegeta. the only fused character is gotenks and you can't use calick gun in this one.that's why i made it a 3 star rating
Supersonic Warriors is a must buy August 19, 2004 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
Ahh, Dragonball Z. Originally a cartoon television show starring Goku, a Saiyan warrior, along with a ton of other good and bad characters, it's morphed (like the greedy little capitalist machine it is) into many differrent catagories. Now even the Gameboy Advance has a few titles; most recently, the fighting game known as DBZ: Supersonic Warriors. And you know what? Hands down, this is the best fighting game for the Gameboy Advance, period. Proving that you don't have to simply mirror the Street Fighter franchise, developer's Banpresto did an excellent job turning what could have been a minimal button masher into a worthy title for any fighting gamer, DBZ fan or not. You've got multiple game modes (the best being a story mode), repeat value (as you win with a character, your strength/ability grows) and a gradual learning curve. Random, repetitive fingers may win the beginning fights, but you'll quickly learn it takes skill to overcome the later challengers. Most of the characters are pretty solid, but like any fighting game, you'll probably stick to using the same 2-3 guys. Most importantly, the visuals really shine on this game, and the sound is pretty good as well. Fighting fans: Supersonic Warriors is a must buy.
