Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Product Description
IEvolution Skateboarding/I has features that are brand-new in the extreme sports game genre. Players skate across eight sprawling fantasy levels that are 200 percent larger than the levels seen in Konami's previous skateboarding titles, and gameplay is enriched by intense boss battles that must be completed to progress through the game. Players will come face-to-face with a giant spider and a runaway truck as they grind their way to the next level. Topping off the game's rich feature set are in-game tools that allow players to design their own stunts and skaters.

Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars A bunch of great ideas executed poorly.   December 19, 2002

This game is packed with innovative ideas, but none of them are executed well. Metal Gear Solid fans will be happy to know that Solid Snake is a playable character from the start, and the Tony Hawk-based control scheme is easy to learn. From there, everything else is hell. Boss battles are stupid and repetitve, and control of your skater is bad. Objectives are nothing new, along with many of the park designs. Creating a trick sounds good, but what fun is it if you can never pull off the trick? It is not completely bad, as tricks are fun, especially because you can catch some big air. But when games like TONY HAWK 4 are on the market, why should you bother with this?
