When Rare made IGoldenEye/I for the Nintendo 64 in 1997, they created the best first-person shoot-'em-up the world had ever seen and, arguably, has ever seen to this day. Many of the geniuses behind the game left Rare shortly after to set up their own company, Free Radical. Their first game was the rather rushed (in time for the PS2's launch) ITimeSplitters/I, but this sequel is polished to perfection and easily one of the best games of the year.p One of the main problems with the original ITimeSplitters/I was its awful single-player mode, but this has been totally revamped for the sequel, with a proper story mode, all-new time zones and weapons, and absolutely mountains of unlockable hidden extras. Thankfully they've kept the wicked sense of humor from the first game, but there's also a lot more strategy for solo players this time around, including an amusing homage to IGoldenEye/I's Arkangelsk Dam level, along with pastiches of other games and films scattered throughout the game.p The real reason for ITimeSplitters 2/I's greatness, though, is the multiplayer mode. This is IGoldenEye/I to the In/Ith degree, with superbly designed levels, tons of weapons, and all sorts of tricks and gimmicks, such as remote-control gun turrets and invisibility pills. It may lack the epic scope of IHalo/I, but in multiplayer mode at least this is a lot more fun--and fun, as the Beatles never said, is all you need. I--David Jenkins, Amazon.co.uk/I

I LOVE THIS GAME SOOOOOO MUCH . You can do sooo many stuff. You can go to the 10 huge environments in time such as a cold war russian military base. And the gangster-ridden 1920s chacago. And the futuristic surface of planet x And the 1970s. you can create your own games with the brilliantiy made mapmaker. Why do I love time splitters. Well because its fun to shoot stuff. I Like the GOOOOOD characters you can even be a dead guy. Even nintendo power said it was A brillant game. Ther is soooo much missions to do. so that is Review the end p.s. if you want to no more about the game please Write a coment

Time Splitters is my favorite game of all. There are many weapons you can unlock. There are many characters you can unlock. Here is a sample of some characters: Capt. Night, military. Stumpy, freak. Harry Tipper. Harry Faces. br /br /One of my favorite things about this game is the wonderful graphics, and I find it fun to go around shooting things and trying to get the objective. br /br /Overall, I think this is a very fun game.br /PS - If you have any questions about this game, please write a comment.
Endless replay value and possibly the best shooter on the 'Cube. January 31, 2007
Time Splitters 2 is an exceptional value. You could play and get bored with five other great Gamecube games before you even come close to leaving this one behind. If you are like me and like to assemble a greatest hits collection for your various consoles, then Time Splitters 2 should be a part of your Gamecube greatest hits collection.
