Amazon.com Product Description The Mobile Monitor is a 5.4-inch, high-resolution color display that attaches to the back of the GameCube. Buyer beware December 10, 2006 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this thinking it would be a fun way to play my Gamecube and not have to use the television, because sharing the TV becomes a hassle with roommates. In theory, this could have been an AMAZING product, but leave it to a business to cut corners and costs to save themselves money and deliver a very poor quality product to you in the end. This monitor looks very slick, up until you turn it on. I was impressed with the way it clips onto the Gamecube and fit flawlessly, and how the battery pack popped right onto the bottom, but as soon as I turned it on for the first time, my heart sank.br /br /The image quality on this unit is abysmal. That is all there is to it. The color reproduction is so poor, most colors look completely washed up and playing darker games is next to impossible. The screen also blurs horribly, which makes fast paced games impossible to enjoy. On top of this, the image shakes on the screen. The only control you have over the quality is the brightness, which isn't enough. A color adjustment would have been welcome. br /br /The sound is also sketchy, but maybe it's just mine. There was a slight buzzing emitting from it when I tried to play it, and I figured it was a fan or something on the inside, but as soon as I plugged in my headphones, that buzzing sound was right in my ear. This makes playing with headphones almost impossible.br /br /The company also seems to care less about quality control for the aesthetics of this product. The outer screen on my unit has what appear to be air bubbles or some strange defect from the manufacturing process. These aren't terribly noticeable when playing a game, but If InterAct cared at all about quality, this product never should have left the factory.br / br /At the moment I am playing Metroid Prime and Resident Evil 4. I was really looking forward to playing both of them on this screen, but after giving each a shot, neither is enjoyable or even playable on this monitor. Like I said, this product could have been amazing had it been in the hands of a competent company that was dedicated to delivering a high quality accessory for gamers, but alas, it's just another company willing to throw quality out the door to make a buck.
Dont Buy This Product! March 1, 2003 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
I found this brand of mobile monitor to be a complete let down. The screen blurrs so badly when your character moves quickly that you can barely see!Its not very clear either. It just stinks...

On xmas day I unwraped the Mobile Moniter. It was everything that I expected it to be. It looks decent and it sounds great. My brother I played Wrestlemania x8 on the way to my grandmothers a couple days after christmas, and it was great. I would recomend picking one of these up if you go on family trips or stay in the car for a long time, it really helps to pass the time!!

Of course, Nintendo has been successful with yet another of its projects. It is one of their best. Not only does it allow you to playing anywhere, the graphics are unbelievable, and the sound is incredible. You'll love it. Unless their's somethin wrong with you, this wont hurt your eyes if play for days on end. Keep cubin'.

This product is so horrible because when I play with the mobile monitor, the screen is bad. It makes me get a headache. I think it's one of the most horrible products around.
