Nancy Drew: The White Wolf of Icicle Creek is another exciting and dangerous mystery starring Nancy Drew. She's at Icicle Creek Lodge to investigate a recent string of suspicious accidents. An eerie howling wolf keeps everyone up at night and terrorizes the guests. The wolf also appears at the site of accidents and then mysteriously disappears when the police arrive. As Nancy makes her way to the cozy lodge, an explosion rocks the quiet night, destroying a bunkhouse. A wolf howls mournfully in the distance. Nancy has barely set foot on the premises and already trouble is afoot! Can Nancy solve this mystery before all the guests leave and Chantal is left out in the cold?

 Fun Family Game! Recommended! December 14, 2008
"The White Wolf of Icicle Creek" is a very solid addition to the Nancy Drew game franchise. We are fans of the Nancy Drew games and up to now have played all of the other games. br /br /The game pretty much follows the format of the most recent Nancy Drew games. This time Nancy has to solve a fairly challenging mystery in a lodge filled with an interesting array of guests/suspects. br /br /What we liked:br /br /* Great plot and story linebr /* Longer game play than recent Nancy Drew gamesbr /* Fantastic graphics, the best so farbr /* Really good puzzles and challengesbr /br /What we didn't like:br /br /* Repetitive tasks, Nancy's cover is as a maid (and cook) so you have to clean rooms EVERY daybr /* Limited exploration timebr /br /This Nancy Drew game is a step up from recent installments and was a lot of fun for us!br /br /Recommended!
 Not my favorite Nancy Drew November 11, 2008
I've played a few of the other ND mysteries and enjoyed them. The graphics for White Wolf are nice, and the story is pretty good. Most of the puzzles for this one are just okay, but the cooking 'drill' and housekeeping got repetitive and tedious. It kind of ruined the game for me.
 Pretty good game until the ending October 14, 2008
I always enjoy "point and click" type games, and have played a couple Nancy Drew. This game was really enjoyable, but I did have to resort to the walkthrough a couple times to help with the puzzle solving. I finally made it to the end, but couldn't finish it because of the snowmobile chase. I finally gave up after quite a long time of trying (and a sore wrist!), and never did see the ending. All in all though, a pretty good game.

I have played the majority of games in this series. I love them, they are my guilty indulgence, but this one left me cold. 2 of the challenges were darned near impossible, and in fact by the time I got to the snowmobile race I was fed up and didn't even bother to finish. If I want to do chores there are plenty around the house,I don't need a game for that. Seriously, it's as if they ran out of puzzles and plot material so they got lazy and substituted that annoying cooking drill over and over. I haven't given up on Nancy Drew yet but if the Venice episode is like this one I just might!
DIFFERENT FROM THE REST August 7, 2008
The makers of this game went about it a little differently on this one, therefore making for a less predictable and more enjoyable game experience. There are still some repetitive tasks you must complete to finish the game, but the added elements made it feel not so bad. I'm gonna give this one a huge thumbs up. Definitely worth the play for fans of this genre. The ending was kinda weird, but kool still.
