5 out of 5 stars I Love my DS   September 6, 2010
gphilly (Florida)
When I first bought this game I played for 8hours straight and I only stopped because my battery had started to die. Its a great gaming platform!!!!

5 out of 5 stars My first DS purchase and I like it.   August 30, 2010
Reknbal
The first time the Nintendo DS came out it didn't even register in my mind but one day I happen to see the DS lite in this Crimson Red and with alot of the Final Fantasy games being remade on it and another one on the way this console somehow became a must buy in my case. The DS is a great size for your pocket I don't find it too heavy or bulky. br / br /The dual screen honestly doesn't do much for me as far as being a deal breaker or a major feature that would help me make my choice for hand held gaming device in fact it sounded gimmicky, but I have to admit I do like how some of the games on it use this feature (yes I know some just kinda force it in but it grows on me now). br / br /Graphics of course are nothing compared to something like a PSP (and I love my PSP don't get me wrong) but for a casual gamer like myself who likes a lot of Nintendo's games I couldn't go wrong adding this. Long battery life, simple and small design to fit in your pocket and.... it looks kool too :)

2 out of 5 stars DEFECTIVE DS METALLIC   August 28, 2010
Wolf95
We've gone through two of these, within 2 years, same problem, sholder buttons not working. Anyway, we were going to return this and get a new one, it was then I realized that the metllic was on clearance and no other ds lite was, this leads me to believe that all ds metallics are defective. I had a Onyx ds lite and it held up for 3 years of beatings. The ds metallic can't stand 1 year.

5 out of 5 stars Good!   August 23, 2010
This is an amazing system! On the ds it has a touch portal or whatever. The touch portal is awesome! You probly know that some game systems go up to 2 or 4 players but the ds has up to 2 or 16 players! Dang! Also you can text your friends but you have to real close to them like about 1 or 30 feet away. The graphics on the ds are good but mostly the ds has 2d games. When you buy this system heres some great games you can get brain age, brain age 2, Percy Jackson, Super Mario 64 DS and wheres Waldo. Get the ds now!!!

5 out of 5 stars Nintendo DS Lite   August 21, 2010
Suresh Subramanian (Florida)
This is the second DS Lite I have purchased for my children. They love it for the size and functionality. They are of the opinion that the newer models are too bulky. The larger screens have the same resolution as this smaller unit as a result of which graphics appears coarser in the new ones than this one (their opinion, not mine). br / br /From my perspective, this unit is a good $60 cheaper than the new ones and I can live with that. The kids seem to be having just as much fun.
