1 out of 5 stars Wow Is all I can say   January 4, 2009
I am completely amazed with this game. What an awesome bowling game if you are into terrible graphics, crappy game play, annoying characters, and just all around complete failure. I did like some others did and bought this before reading reviews. BIG mistake. By far the worst game I have ever played. I do enjoy Wii Bowling that came with my wii...guess i'll stick with that. AMF, who in your organization agreed to put your name on this junk? I saw AMF and that is the reason i bought it.

1 out of 5 stars Regret purchase   January 2, 2009
We wanted to try different bowling games from the version that shipped with the Wii. This was a terrible choice. We regret not checking the reviews before purchasing it on a whim. We barely bowled 2 games before putting the disc on the shelf. br /br /Bowling with the original Wii Sports is much more enjoyable playable.

1 out of 5 stars Truly awful for adult bowlers -- might be okay for kids   January 2, 2009
It's like a cake made entirely of frosting. If you're hoping to enjoy bowling, then STOP -- this isn't the game for you. br /br /The game's possible plusses is that the character and lanes have personality, but the game play was terrible and that just made the aesthetics annoying. br /br /This might be the game for my 7-year-old grandson to play when he's here. He certainly won't care about the bowling part so much, and he might find the odd comic-book characters worthy of his interest.

1 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money!   December 28, 2008

I broke the cardinal rule; never buy a video game before reading reviews. We bought it yesterday and had to play it right away. It was NEVER fun. The characters' verbal banter is more than irritating and the graphics stink. AMF should be embarrassed by this crap.br /br /Stick with the bowling game in Wii Sports, that comes with the console. It's many, many times better.

1 out of 5 stars Horrible game!   December 1, 2008

This is one of the worst games I have played in many years. I can't decide if my 1-word review of this game should be "horrible" or "abysmal".br /br /Graphics are so lame I'd swear they were developed by some high school kid in computer class. Animation is choppy even at its best moments and laughably jerky at other times. You will laugh your head off when you see how the pins fall over - completely hokie and unrealistic. Whatever physics engine this game is using is either severely flawed or implemented incorrectly by the game's programmers. The controls (buttons) are the same as Wii Sports bowling, but far less responsive to the player's swinging motions and wrist input. Music/voices/sound are unprofessional, agonizingly repetitive and all recorded at different sound levels that don't mix well together.br /br /The player is further hampered/frustrated by constantly and repeatedly having to press the A button multiple times just to throw your next ball (even more so than Wii Sports Bowling).br /br /An absolutely amateur attempt to make a console game. Looks like another hunk of Wii "shovel ware" that's been dumped into the Wii marketplace of late. When will this pollution stop? Someone at AMF should have play tested this game before agreeing to have their name associated with itbr /br /Even if you find it in a "bargain bin" for [...] don't waste your dollar.br /br /If you are one of those strange people who like to collect "the worst games ever released" then you might want to check it out because I think it might make some people's "worst 10" list. Everyone else should avoid it.
